Membership Applications

Dear Prospective Member,

Thank you for expressing an interest in Amarillo Club membership. Since 1947, Amarillo Club has served as the Golden Spread’s social, business and civic haven. The Club offers a first-rate dining facility in which to socialize and conduct business in a secure and service-oriented environment. Membership entitles you, your spouse, and any dependent children use of the club facilities.

Amarillo Club currently offers the following membership opportunities:

Amarillo Club's special "3-Year Associate Offer" is back for a limited time only. It allows which allows you to pay the $375 membership fee and $375 (plus tax) application fee according to a schedule, rather than up front with the application. Also, you will enjoy Associate dues (currently $56 + tax per month) instead of full dues (currently $101 + tax per month) for the first three years of your membership. Please note that there is a place on the bottom of the application for the signatures of two current members and payment for $76.24 (the first month's dues and fees plus tax) must accompany the application. After three years, the "3-Year Associate Offer" converts to a Resident membership, and voting privileges are opened at that time.
Resident membership is owned by the individual and allows one vote at the annual Stockholders’ meeting. Costs include a $375 Membership fee and an Application fee of $375 plus tax for a total of $780.94, which is payable with the application. The membership fee is refundable if, and when, the membership is resigned and reissued. Monthly dues are currently $101 plus tax. If you are already a Resident member and would like to convert to a Multiple membership, please use the “Conversion” form.
Multiple membership allows for up to three representatives on a membership. This is ideal for companies that have multiple associates needing Club access. The company can change the name of a representative or transfer the membership with payment of a transfer fee if that becomes necessary. Each representative has one voting privilege at the annual Stockholders’ meeting. There is a membership fee of $750 plus an application fee of $500 (plus tax) for a total of $1,291.25, which is payable with the application. Monthly dues are currently $101 per representative. If you already own a Multiple membership and would like to add a representative, please use the “Addition” form.
For a limited time, Amarillo Club has a special “Associate Tenant” membership offer available only to those who office in the Chase Tower. The Resident membership fee of $375 plus the $375 Administrative fee will be paid according to a schedule and you will enjoy reduced dues (currently $56/month plus tax) for the first four years of your membership. At the completion of 48 months and the total $750 having been paid, $375 will be applied to the Application Fee and $375 will be applied to the Membership Fee (your stock in Amarillo Club membership). This Associate membership will be converted to a Resident membership and you will pay the dues and enjoy the privileges of a Resident member (currently $101/month plus tax). If for any reason, the membership is resigned before the total of $750 has been paid, the Associate membership will not be converted and the member will forfeit all funds paid to the time of resignation.
Junior membership is available to those under the age of 35. The membership is owned by the individual and there is no vote in the annual Stockholders’ meeting. There is an Application fee of $375 (plus tax) which is payable with the application. The $375 Membership fee is payable in the month the member reaches age 35, at which time the membership is either converted to a full Resident membership or forfeited. Monthly dues are currently $56 (plus tax).
Non-Resident membership is available to those residing outside the state of Texas. The membership is owned by the individual and there is no vote in the annual Stockholders’ meeting. The Application fee of $375 (plus tax) is payable with the application. Monthly dues are currently $81 (plus tax).

Because Amarillo Club bills once monthly, a credit report is obtained on all applicants. Dues and fees are billed in advance on your monthly statement, which also includes your current month's charges. Activity from the 28th of the prior month, through the 27th of the current month is normally included in your statement. The total is due by the 20th of the month following the statement date. The Board of Directors reviews all applications at their monthly meetings, which are typically held the fourth Wednesday of each month. All approved memberships become effective the first of the following month.
